Bio

Highly experienced clinical Pilates teacher who has been teaching for the last twenty years in well respected studios and physiotherapy clinics, working alongside physiotherapists, osteopaths and other health professionals.

Previously worked for many years as a clinical masseur at ES Physical therapy in Harley Street. She now uses her soft tissue release techniques within her 1:1 Pilates rehab.

Cordelia discovered Pilates at the original Alan Herdman Pilates Studio London, while searching for a solution to her own back pain, so she could live pain free & continue with her passion for running & dance.

She has continued to develop her Pilates practice incorporating movements from other disciplines including yoga, tai chi, Feldenkrais, & Franklin Method amongst others, while staying up to date with the latest scientific research on how the body is designed to move.

Educated to masters degree level in theatre and writing, she is a highly effective communicator.

Her hobbies are reading, theatre, running, & walking with Jessica her whippet, who is a friendly face at her home studio.

She is also the director of new writing for the charity Podium.me - an organisation which encourages young adults’ involvement in audio production and writing.
